Born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, I grew up with dual Canadian-American citizenship thanks to my Canadian parents. During high school, I interned for a Digital Publishing Associate at Penguin Random House in NYC. I have been working in the restaurant industry for almost 10 years and I currently work as a full-time server at a live-music supper club.

I’ve always been an avid reader and some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, Suzanne Collins, Ayn Rand, Charles Bukowski and Jane Austen. One of my current hobbies is learning new languages, specifically Spanish. I would consider myself a homebody as I spend most of my time cuddling my cats and watching true crime documentaries. Writing a book has always been on my bucket list, but I’m more interested in building a career as an editor.
